So far we have only a few files, some being written by a past senior op in this channel. He has given us permission to include them, and we have slightly altered the "look" to match our pages, with a (narrower) green stripe down the side.
To these we have added files written by other senior ops, and also by others outside our on-line community who take the same view of scripture as we do.
And there is more!
We reproduce a magazine article about the Gnostic Heresy, and comparing it with the 20th Century "New Age" movement. It is reproduced in its entirety to conform with copyright requirements. New Age is not new in any way. Nor is Gnosticism. Both pre-date Christianity.
Some will tell you that Jesus was not crucified in the historical Roman way with seven-inch nails into the wrists of oustretched arms; or else he didn't actually die on the cross, and was resuscitated afterwards. There are several pages we can point you towards which show that crucifixion was done by nailing the person to a timber cross-shaped "tree" (not an upright post) and there are medical and historical comments which confirm this, at a special easter page.
While there is slight disagreement between gospel accounts over specific details of Jesus' trial, we have comments from legal experts from different countries, describing Mosaic and Roman Law and how the trials described in the New Testament were a travesty of justice. We should remember, however, that if Jesus had not been condemned to die, and then actually died, there would have been no atonement for our sins. Here is another link to the easter page.
What does the Bible actually say about believers and sickness? And does it say that God will always heal when we snap our fingers and require Him to do so when we tell Him to heal us?
