May I suggest we could read the words of a great preacher, addressing a crowd in Rome, some of whom would have been Roman Jews (like he was himself), some of whom were thinking agnostics (not knowing if there is a God nor what form he might take), and some of whom were antagonistic, who objected to his message.
In many ways like a large and well-attended chatroom, without anyone to devoice or ban those causing trouble :)
We only have what the preacher said - not the harassment he received (lol).. and this is a failry modern translation from the Greek. He says a lot... please try and stick with it...
He starts by telling them that God's message was originally taken to His chosen nation Israel...
Since the crucifixion, that was no longer chosen, the "Good News" of the Gospel being released at that point to all nations...
"I am the door,
if anyone enters by me,
he will be saved..."John 10:9.Where to from here?
