Computer Stuff:

We have started to create a collection of information to help you use your computer with less fatigue, greater safety, and more fun. We are also providing a download point for files and services that some of our guests would find useful.

Comfort and your computer
The first link is a series of help pages provided by Hewlett-Packard for users of their computer equipment, and we acknowledge their kind permission to link to their ergonomics website.

While admitting that their's is a commercial website, we endorse their concern for the comfort and safety of all computer users, with sensible information that will help reduce poor posture, eye and limb strain, and so on. You can't enjoy chatting if your body objects to being connected to your computer!

Operating Systems
Not just Windows, but other well known Operating Systems such as Linux, QNX, BeOS, OS/2 will be discussed, with some historical notes, and as little bias as possible.

There are regulars in our channels who have expertise in one or more of these; should you experience problems, they will be happy to offer suggestions.
